CUSUSWASH - [Brochure], c. 1972
Scope and Contents
The Council of U.S. Universities for Soil and Water Management in Arid and Sub-humid Areas (CUSUSWASH) was a collaboration founded in 1968 between CSU, Utah State University, the University of California, and the University of Arizona. Albertson was on the board of trustees. The Council focused on agricultural development of international regions. In 1972, CUSUSWASH was reorganized as the Consortium for International Development, a nonprofit corporation. At CSU, CUSUSWASH activities were mainly coordinated by the Office of International Programs. CSU's Water Management Research Project was part of CUSUSWASH and is documented here. Materials include contracts, correspondence, reports, and travel files. Countries most documented are Pakistan, Afghanistan, the Philippines, and Thailand. Files are grouped by material type and tend to be either alphabetical or chronological therein.
