Scope and Contents
This small series contains three plaques. The first two, presented by the International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage (ICID) posthumously, both acknowledge Tipton's contributions to irrigation science and his service as vice president and president of ICID. The third is the University of Colorado's Department of Engineering Distinguished Engineering Alumnus Award. Despite having an honorary rather than completed degree from CU, Tipton was part of the first group of honorees to receive the DEAA in 1966. The plaques are listed alphabetically.
