 File — Box: 5, Folder: 19
Identifier: Series 3

Scope and Contents

From the Series:

This series consists of published reports, conference proceedings, government publications, and legal documents. While not authored by Tipton, materials cover topics directly related to his professional activities and interests, especially interstate river compacts and international treaties for the Pecos, Colorado, and Indus Rivers. Several items were given to Tipton as gifts and are embossed with his name. The International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage (ICID) Tipton Special Session on Irrigated Agriculture held in 1969 in Mexico City was Tipton's brainchild, but he died before it could be organized. Materials are arranged alphabetically by title.
