Cyanotype textile, c. 1903
Scope and Contents
The Water Resources Artifacts Collection consists of items dated 1900 through 2009. It is an artificial collection comprised of objects gathered from various donors since about 2006. The collection includes a Thacher calculator, four water level recorders, a textile, a painting, and two water bottles from the memorial service for W. D. Farr, one of which is unopened. The collection documents aspects of water resources history--especially technology--that are often lost in document-based collections.
