From the Collection:

The Water Resources Artifacts Collection consists of items dated 1900 through 2009. It is an artificial collection comprised of objects gathered from various donors since about 2006. The collection includes a Thacher calculator, four water level recorders, a textile, a painting, and two water bottles from the memorial service for W. D. Farr, one of which is unopened. The collection documents aspects of water resources history--especially technology--that are often lost in document-based collections.

Abstract

Painted by Jennie Eaton (1870-1906), daughter of Colorado Governor Benjamin Eaton (1833-1904) who was one of the early settlers and irrigators in the Cache la Poudre River Valley.
