Newspaper clippings regarding the opening of the time capsule, 1970
Scope and Contents
The series contains ashes and bricks from Old Main after the 1970 fire, as well as photographs, a memorial plate, newspaper clippings, and the building's time capsule. The time capsule was found in the cornerstone after the fire, and includes glass shards from broken grain vials, a copy of the New Testament, newspapers, minerals, vials of grain, copies of founding legislation, the Colorado Legislative Manual, and Proceedings of the R.W. Grand Lodge of the Independent Order of Odd-Fellows of Colorado.
