This series contains the general files of the San Luis Valley Irrigation District and its predecessor organizations. Materials include legal documents, correspondence, annual reports, election notices, contracts, financial records, engineering documents, and clippings. The correspondence is generally incoming letters with few copies of outgoing letters present. District maps are scattered throughout the "General Correspondence and Actions" folders, as are minutes of some meetings. A few photographs are mixed in. Files are in rough chronological order.
