Identifier: Series 13

Scope and Contents

From the Series:

This series contains most of the materials donated by Albertson's wife after his death. Materials had little organization upon donation and generally were not rearranged. Media materials and artifacts were added to those respective series rather than here. Also, the chronological set of Albertson's papers and talks was added to Series 5 (boxes 142-146). What is here ranges from Albertson's graduate school files to his post-retirement consulting and business activities. Highlights include more than 40 years of memo books and daytimers, along with documentation of Albertson's college and graduate school years, as well as his early employment. Other files document his work at CSURF and his involvement in professional organizations, especially ASCE and ASEE. Additionally, there are numerous files on Albertson's later interests, especially those related to Village Earth, AWIPS/CWWT, and hydrogen.

Restrictions on Access

Due to the presence of student information in Subseries 1.1, some files require review before access is granted. Access to student information is open only to the student in question and to Colorado State University employees. However, access to others will be granted upon having written consent from the student or providing written proof that the student is deceased.

All "confidential" markings on correspondence or other materials have been determined to be for administrative purposes, not national security information; therefore, these materials are open for access.

One file in Series 9 is closed until 2034.
