This subseries contains the records of Preserve Our Poudre, which include administrative documents, promotional brochures and mailings, membership lists, newsclippings, correspondence, photographs, and slides. Documentary evidence of the group's beginning and ending is absent. POP coordinated with other organizations to create protective legislation for the Poudre, and the subseries contains correspondence and drafts of bills covering the negotiation process. POP President Charles (Chuck) Wanner also sat on several basin study committees, and reports and other materials from those committees are present. POP's administrative files are arranged alphabetically by folder title. Categories for associated organizations, Wild and Scenic River legislation, and basin studies appear at the end of the series. Folders within categories are arranged alphabetically by folder title with the exception of Wild and Scenic River legislation files, which are listed in rough chronological order.
