Early files, 1902-1970
Scope and Contents
This subseries contains files from early in the company's history that were not filed with the indexed files in Subseries 1.1. The first set of files is alphabetized correspondence of a routine nature. Following that set are some reports, data, a lengthy legal document, and a minute book. These items chiefly concern MVID, being their first minute book, a proposal for their irrigation system, and the court document ultimately dissolving the district. Each of the two sets of files is arranged in alphabetical order by title.

Restrictions on Access
Any files or items containing plans of any dams or dam structures are restricted to only MVIC employees, board members, or attorneys. Also, the collection is stored off-site, so advance notice is required.
