Country/project files, 1946-1995

 Sub-Series
Identifier: Subseries 3.2

Scope and Contents

Large groupings of files on international projects were kept together and are found in this subseries. Four countries are represented: Afghanistan, China, Indonesia, and Pakistan. The Afghanistan files primarily concern Kabul University. The China files primarily concern a trip Albertson led in 1974, along with reference files, as well as files related to a later U.N. study. The Indonesia files primarily relate to Diponegoro University in Semarang. Some of the Pakistan files relate to the country in general, but most relate to the University of Peshawar. Some overlap with Water Management Research projects (see Subseries 3.3). Additional related files are in Series 13. Materials are organized alphabetically by country, and remain arranged as found. Material types include correspondence, drafts, reports, maps, photographs, clippings, and publications.

Restrictions on Access

Due to the presence of student information in Subseries 1.1, some files require review before access is granted. Access to student information is open only to the student in question and to Colorado State University employees. However, access to others will be granted upon having written consent from the student or providing written proof that the student is deceased.

All "confidential" markings on correspondence or other materials have been determined to be for administrative purposes, not national security information; therefore, these materials are open for access.

One file in Series 9 is closed until 2034.
