Company and nonprofit records, 1982-2003

This series contains records of companies and nonprofit organizations which Albertson founded or had a hand in running. The materials are grouped alphabetically by name of the organization, with one exception to retain a chronological relationship. Some background on each follows.

The Consortium for Sustainable Village-Based Development (CSVBD), of which Albertson was president and co-founder, was established in 1993 and continues to exist as Village Earth. Most files found on this organization were given to Village Earth during the acquisition process; those that remained scattered throughout the collection were brought together here (with the exception of Series 13). Hydrogen Technologies Company was a limited liability company created in the late 1990s with a focus on better using hydrogen as a fuel in a commercially viable manner. Hydrogen Now! is a non-profit dedicated to making a hydrogen economy a reality. The files of these two related organizations were separated as much as possible, but still may be intermixed to some extent. Integrated Energy Systems focused on renewable energy resource systems during the early 1980s. Related files can be found in Series 13.
