 File — Box: 1, Folder: 2-4
Identifier: Series 1

Scope and Contents

From the Series:

The interviews in this series were part of a larger effort by Colorado State University history professor Dr. James E. Hansen II and several of his graduate student assistants to capture oral histories with members of Colorado's agricultural and water communities. Hansen used the interviews specific to this series to glean personal and professional information about the lives of Robert Glover, Norman Evans, and James Ogilvie. He also took the opportunity to ask that the civil engineers' papers be donated to the Colorado Agricultural Archives (CAA). Interviewees, mostly family members of the engineers, donated papers to the CAA two to three years after speaking with Hansen. In 1986, Hansen also acquired a tape of Maxwell Parshall's personal reminiscences of work for the Water Supply and Storage Company from Bill Fead and Roger Krempel. Materials are arranged alphabetically by interview title.
