Scope and Contents
This series consists of the materials created or used by Simons in relation to his research. Included are proposals requesting funding, proposals submitted but not funded, data gathered, reports and correspondence related to various projects, and reports, articles, and books used for reference. The projects documented here are not comprehensive; they are only a small representation of what Simons worked on during his career. The materials are arranged into five subseries.

Restrictions on Access
Some files in Series 2, Subseries 2, Student files (boxes 2-3) are closed to everyone except the student named; however, access will be granted upon having written consent from the student or providing written proof that the student is deceased. Also, the collection is stored off-site, so advance notice is required.
