Appraisers handbook, 1975
Scope and Contents
This series consists of three handbooks produced by the Federal Land Bank. The Engineering Handbook gives the engineer information about water law in states in which the Federal Land Bank of Wichita lends. It also provides information about the requirements of an engineer's job, including relevant considerations. The Appraiser's Handbook's purpose is to set "forth the policies of the Farm Credit Administration and procedures to be followed by appraisers throughout the United States." It is intended as a guide to assisting in estimating building costs and values and returns. The Irrigation Handbook is similar to the Appraiser's Handbook but it is to be used "where appraisals involve irrigated properties and the income or cost approaches are used as a basis of valuation." The series is organized chronologically.
