Volume IV. Operations of Colorado Agricultural College, 1879-1882, undated

This series consists of seven scrapbooks that contain some of the earliest documents of Colorado State University. They remain in Miller's broad arrangement by topic. This series is listed at the item level, based on a legacy inventory from 1991, which is located in Series 8. The majority of titles of individual documents were taken from the documents when the legacy inventory was created; titles supplied in 2007 are bracketed.

Materials in this series include reports, financial documents, and correspondence of the State Board of Agriculture and faculty members. This series contains copies, including typescripts, of many documents. Typescripts of materials are not included in the item-level inventory. In Miller's "Pioneer College President," documents in this series were cited as "the historic documents of Colorado State University." Note that the dates refer to the date of original creation; photocopies of some materials were made in the 1950s or later.
