Scope and Contents
This series consists of documents related to GASP's general operations. It includes yearly plans of operation and agreements related to recharge and obtaining augmentation water. Legal materials include items concerning several court cases involving E.E. Sonnenberg and Sons. Also notable are annual acceptance letters and correspondence from the office of the State Engineer regarding the company's yearly substitute water supply plans. Also, minutes and agendas from nearly all the Board of Directors meetings can be found here. Marketing brochures give a general overview of the company's purpose and approach, and auction materials trace the ultimate liquidation of assets. Of special interest are documents related to the organization's 2003 substitute water supply plan, which details the company's attempts to sustain operations despite changing administrative regulations and opposition from competing water users. Materials are arranged alphabetically by category or folder title, and within categories materials are arranged either alphabetically or chronologically as appropriate.
