This large subseries primarily consists of documents related to court cases that date from 1942 through 1998, with the bulk of the cases taking place between 1970 and 1998. Most of the cases are from Division 2 of Colorado's Water Court system, which oversees the Arkansas River Basin. Materials from some civil action, county, Colorado Supreme Court, and U.S. Supreme Court cases are also present. Materials in this subseries were in Cabinet A, Drawers 1-4, and Cabinet G, Drawers 1-2 of Milenski's filing system. Most of the folder titles in this subseries are case numbers. Researchers should consult the inventories in Series 1 for more specific descriptions of folder contents. Files are in rough chronological order as found in the original filing system. Most materials in this subseries are court documents and rulings, with some associated memoranda and publications.
