Scope and Contents
The Records of the Colorado State University Research Foundation consists of documents dated 1941 to 1966. The collection includes papers and publications regarding the Point 4 Youth Corps (also referred to as Youth Corps) development, including questionnaires completed by 39 people regarding the potential of the Youth Corps based on their individual foreign service experiences. Pilot Peace Corps program proposals and reports are present. The collection also contains a 1941 press release announcing the establishment of the Colorado Agricultural Research Foundation. Records of various research projects and funding sources for the University are present and include grant proposals for a space biology study and final reports on a soil and water abstracting project grant. CSURF publicity brochures, annual reports, and development fund annual reports are also included.
