Secretaries' files, 1874-2012 and undated
Scope and Contents
CHS has been served by only eight known secretaries in over 130 years of existence (the earliest years of records have been lost). The latest three each served thirty years. This series contains the files saved by these and other secretaries, though many of the early files were lost or damaged in the 1976 flood. The series is divided into three subseries, one for early secretaries and two for the most recent office holders.

Restrictions on Access
Series 1, Subseries 5.2, and Subseries 6.3, along with one folder in Series 2 and two folders in Series 3, are open only to board members of and attorneys for the Consolidated Home Supply Ditch and Reservoir Company. The remainder of the collection is fully accessible to anyone. However, the collection is stored off-site, so advance notice is required.
