Scope and Contents
This series is primarily comprised of reports, newsletters, manuals, brochures, and clippings that relate to the Farmers Irrigating Ditch and Reservoir Company. Very few items relate to the Reorganized Farmers Ditch Company. The clippings are a mix of entire newspaper sections and clipped articles, mostly relating to the Lawn Lake flood. Also included are a few printed drawings, one of them being a map of the entire ditch. Materials are filed alphabetically by title, with the clippings grouped together at the end, followed by the drawings.

Restrictions on Access
Series 1, 2, 4, and 5 and materials from 1982-1987 in Series 3 are open only to shareholders of and attorneys for the Reorganized Farmers Ditch Company. The rest of series 3, along with series 6 and 7, are fully accessible to anyone. Restrictions will be lifted December 30, 2033, on all but Series 3 materials. The company has requested notification from the archives about requests to review, copy or photograph materials not already online.
The collection is stored off-site, so advance notice is required.
