 File — Box: 10, Folder: 8
Identifier: Series 3

Scope and Contents

From the Series:

This series contains material pertaining to Tom Sutherland’s graduate studies at the University of Reading and Iowa State University and his personal life in Colorado. Most material relates to Tom’s community involvement. Tom volunteered and donated to many organizations in Colorado, especially Fort Collins, and he was an active member of the Republican Party. Some documents reflect joint action by Tom and Jean, but mentions of Tom and Jean’s children, Ann, Kit, and Joan, are uncommon. Material is arranged topically into categories: graduate school, family activities, financial, volunteering and philanthropy, political activities, and speaking and writing. Tom’s graduate school material is listed chronologically. Materials in the other categories are listed alphabetically.
