Scope and Contents
This subseries contains materials related to the time directly following Tom Sutherland’s release from captivity in Beirut, Lebanon. Welcome home banners and planning materials for return celebrations at Colorado State University and Mile High Stadium, and media requests comprise most of the materials. Additional materials related to Sutherland’s return trip to Lebanon in 1993 for an NBC documentary and other television specials are also included. Materials are arranged by category and then alphabetically. The last five folders are uncategorized and are arranged chronologically.
