781-10A7 Cyprus, Cyprus-Environmental Baseline, Book 1, Flood hydrology, 1979
Scope and Contents
In the late 1970s, Wright Water Engineers began working for the Cyprus Mines Corporation in the Tallahassee Creek uranium district in Fremont County (the creek is a tributary to the Arkansas River). WWE worked on a water management plan for a uranium mine, mill, and tailings area there, investigating both water rights and water quality for surface water and groundwater. The Hansen uranium mine was a main focus, but the work also included the Picnic Tree uranium mine. Materials in this series document this work though proposals, data, reports, correspondence, maps, drawings, and photographs. Files remain in the order found upon arrival; they appear to be the compiled files of several employees.
