The Records of the Colorado Department of Education and Colorado Commission on Higher Education consists of materials relating to finances, student enrollment, teaching, research, reports, and planning regarding institutions of higher education in Colorado, specifically Colorado State University.

The Colorado State University (CSU) Police Department was established in 1955 with the appointment of Wayne Teegarden to implement parking policies at the university. The collection consists of scrapbooks and documents chronicling the history of the police department that were assembled by Teegarden.

The first philosophy classes taught at CSU were led by Willard Eddy during the late 1940s. The collection contains reports, course information, and minutes of department meetings. There is also information about faculty members who worked in the department.

The North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) is a membership organization, consisting of colleges, universities, and schools in 19 U.S. states, that is engaged in educational accreditation. The collection consists of reports, letters, memos, and publications that were assembled for the 1974 NCA accreditation visit to Colorado State University.

The Office of Conference Services (now Conference and Event Services) at Colorado State University provides coordination and registration services for meetings and events both on- and off-campus. The collection contains newspaper clippings and a scrapbook.

The Records of the Office of International Programs was established to administer and oversee projects of an international nature. The collection consists of correspondence, memoranda, reports, proposals, conference proceedings, and office records related to meetings, finance, individual profiles, international travel, foreign countries and projects. Material types include manuscripts, articles, reports, brochures, journals, maps, newspaper clippings, a scrapbook, and photographs.

The Office of the Vice President for Administrative Services (now the Office of the Vice President for Operations) and its earlier iterations oversaw administrative units at Colorado State University until 2010. The collection includes budgets, committee materials, meeting minutes, correspondence, administrative calendars, artifacts, films, publications, and reports related to planning and daily operations at the university.

The Trailer Court Association was formed to oversee an on campus trailer park focused on affordable housing options for married students at Colorado State University. The records contain financial documents, correspondence, insurance forms, constitutions, contracts, and titles.

The Rocky Mountain Collegian is the student newspaper for Colorado State University and is the oldest continuously existing college student publication in Colorado. The collection contains negatives taken by Tim O'Hara when he was on staff and includes images of student meetings, athletics, student dances, concerts, intramurals, parades, and university celebrations.

The University Digital Photograph Collection contains born digital images of Colorado State University dated 2001 to 2010 captured by CSU photographers Bill Cotton, John Eisele, and Joe Mendoza. The collection documents many aspects of campus life, including academics, student activities, university administration, research, Cooperative Extension, and the Colorado Agricultural Experiment Station.
