Frances "Fannie" Schelt Cunningham (1872-1967) graduated from Colorado Agricultural College (now Colorado State University) in 1895. Following college, she taught in local public schools until she married Frank Cunningham in 1903. Since 1901, the North Poudre Irrigation Company (NPIC) has supplied water to Northern Colorado's Boxelder Creek Valley farmers and ranchers through its system of canals and reservoirs.
